Lessons at Bank Farm
It is always best to arrive at least 10 minutes before your lesson. This will give you time to check in at reception and find a suitable hat to hire. We aim to start our lessons on time but ask that you be understanding if delayed. The time for each lesson includes the time spent mounting, checking stirrups and girth. To save time you can download and complete a rider registration form and bring it with you on your first visit.

Experienced leaders can be made available for beginner riders. Please request when making your booking.

What to wear?
Riding hats must comply with the British standard system.
We stock hats of varying sizes for beginners to hire.

Comfortable fitting trousers should be worn - overly tight trousers are not advised as these may restrict movement and prove uncomfortable for riding in, whilst baggy trouser may flap and alarm the horse or pony. Boots or shoes with a small heel should be worn and shoes with a chunky grip on the sole are best avoided.

Cancellation policy
A miniumum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel a booked lesson. Customers who fail to turn up to their lesson without prior notification will be required to pay the full lesson price. This includes failure to arrive due to bad weather.
